More Than a Case File: Humanizing the Victims - 15 Minutes of Murder LIVE!

DESCRIPTION
Tonight, we went beyond the headlines to look at the human cost of crime and murder. We spent a lot of time talking about the documentary 'Strong Island' on #netflix and how it beautifully—and painfully—shows who the Ford Family was before tragedy struck. We explored the immense suffering the family faced, from the physical toll on William’s father to the emotional "island of grief" that remains decades later.
We also get into the technicalities of the shooting itself. Despite the claims of self-defense, we looked at evidence pointing toward premeditation—specifically, the lack of gunpowder residue and the physical distance between the two parties, which contradicts the "fear for life" narrative. Finally, we discussed the cold reality of the legal system, including why the prosecutor refused to even speak with the victims brother and filmmaker Yance, leaving the family to navigate their loss in total isolation.
